Dogs are good. It is for this reason that so many games let you know you can pet the dogs in them before other details come out. We should all endeavour to be a bit more like dogs in real life and make sure we’re loyal, enjoy life to the fullest, and tilt our heads sideways when we’re kind of confused? Alright, that one got away from me, but the good news is that you can make sure you’re looking after dogs if you decide to play To The Rescue.
To The Rescue has you playing as someone in charge of a dog shelter. It’ll be your job to look after the dogs, learn all about them, make sure they go to good homes, and just generally be awesome. It sounds like a tall order, and while you’ll only be looking after digital dogs in the actual game, 20% of the profits from the game will be going to pet shelters, which means you can do some real good and also get to play a game about dogs.
Honestly, all of that sounds pretty great whether you’re just in it for the digital dogs or you want to do a little bit for charity. It’s also just a very cute idea, and I can’t wait to have the chance to fall in love with every dog and probably end up devastated that I can’t just adopt them all myself. Maybe I shouldn’t play this after all, but at least I don’t have to worry about it too much until it gets a full release date.
